Dr. Lorri MacDonald received her Doctorate in Education from Eastern Michigan University. She is currently an Assistant Professor at University of Detroit Mercy and an online instructor for Michigan Virtual High School. Dr. MacDonald has over 20 years of experience in teaching and building administration. Her experience includes teaching grades 7-12, adult and alternative education, online instruction, higher education and administration at the secondary level. She is committed to the educational profession, ensuring novice teachers have a good start, and designing professional development to meet the needs of teachers. Dr. MacDonald has mentored numerous novice teachers and administrators throughout her career and teaches curriculum construction and science teaching methods.
